PERUZZO PRODUCTIONS manufactures nonwoven geotextiles, which are widely used in civil engineering works such as water reservoir and dam constructions, in the construction of airports, roads, motorways and tunnels, and in environmental protection (landfills).
The main functions of this product line sold under the trade name GEOFORT® are:
- Separation (to prevent mixing between soil layers with different lithological characteristics)
- Filtration (retention of entrained particles)
- Protection from mechanical damage
- Drainage
- Reinforcement
They are made of polypropylene and/or polyester fibres, mechanically needle-punched and thermally calendared, and are characterised by high durability and excellent technical performance. We offer the possibility of customising the product, modulating the physical-mechanical characteristics according to specifications.
GEOFORT® type products contain no hazardous chemical compounds (e.g. formaldehyde resins, phthalates or other organic compounds), and are therefore health and environmentally friendly.
Polypropylene geotextiles are resistant to mould and fungus, as confirmed by test results from an independent Institute of British Textile Technology Group.
Our geotextiles are 100% recyclable.
